New EIA Rules Opposed

The Moviment Harsien Hondoq has added its voice to opposition to amendments to the environmental impact assessment regulations.

The Gozo-based environ-mental organisation claims the amendments would favour developers at the expense of the public.

They will also help land speculators develop their projects without the obligation of an environmental study, the organisation said.
